Sinful

It doesn't take more than a second to recognize the pain, heartache, suffering, evil, and destruction in the world today. 
It's evident everywhere you look. 
It's impossible to miss. 
The world sucks, and life is tough. 
Suck it up, right?

Except things didn't have to be this way. 
WE'VE made them this way. 
The earth. 
Humanity. 
Mankind. 
Society. 
Us. 
You. 
Me. 
WE are the reason the world is the way it is. 
Three letter word. SIN.

I came across a facebook page for a precious little baby boy, named Dominic. 
He has Pfieffer's Syndrome. 
It's essentially the premature fusion of the skull (craniosynostosis) and the facial bones... but it can affect their breathing, their hands, feet, mobility, and neurological function.

Wanting to learn more, I googled. 
Read some pages full of information, then looked at some photos. 
And it just broke my heart. 
It struck me like a bolt of the most extreme, shocking, and heartbreaking lightning.... WE DID THIS. 
Us. 
Society. 
The world. 
We did this! 
Our inborn, innately sinful nature did this. 
Innocent little children have to endure such difficult existences and face impossible trials that they do not deserve for a second! 
All because of humanity and our natural SIN.
